Klaipeda
Klaipeda is the third largest city and the only port in Lithuania. It is the oldest city in Lithuania and one of the oldest on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Klaipeda has excellent road, rail and sea connections through which Scandinavia and Central Europe can easily be reached. Most citizens in Klaipeda speak foreign languages such as English, German and Russian, and of course Lithuanian It is also important to note that Lithuania is ranked one of the 5 countries in the European Union with the largest percentage of people who speak at least one foreign language. Klaipeda also knows how to surprise with its rich cultural life, and it hosts international events such as the "Baltic Tall Ship Races"
